Our self-esteem is how we value our self-worth. Specific life events such as family dynamics, bullying, relationship difficulties and body image problems can detrimentally impact our self-belief and decrease our confidence. If you suffer from Low Self Esteem I can support you to reconnect with yourself, feel good about who you are, develop self-compassion and find inner peace.
Eating Disorders are becoming increasingly common. If you are stuck in a viscous cycle of restricting, binging or purging I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders. I will support you through the process of recovery, acceptance and healing.
If you find yourself going from one dissatisfying relationship to another, or you feel unfulfilled with your partner, or perhaps friends and family are critical of your relationship and label it toxic, you could be stuck in a vicious cycle of negative relationship patterns. It could be helpful to talk this over with someone neutral who can help you get to the origins of your relationship patterns.
Depression & Anxiety
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, we are able to help you recover your motivation, perspective, and the joy that you once had in your life.
Parents & Carers
If you’re a parent, partner or family member supporting a loved one with mental health difficulties you don’t have to manage alone. Therapy sessions are a good way to ensure the carer is cared for. Give yourself some space to think and time to talk.
Children & Young People
I have been working with children and young people for the past 17 years. I’m trained in CBT specifically for children and young people. I remember how hard growing up can be and I know how tough it can be being a parent. I will offer your child space to talk about their difficulties and work with them to help build their confidence, hope and self-worth.
