    My practice is located in central Wilmslow. The therapy room is a lovely and warm space and a lot of my clients comment on the welcoming environment.   • What is CBT?
    CBT is short for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT focuses on developing an understanding of how problems are maintained looking at the roles of Thoughts, Behaviours and Feelings.
  • Why Should I Try CBT?
    CBT has a good evidence base for treating anxiety and mood disorders. It is client focussed and led by the problems you bring to therapy. It helps develop new ways of thinking and behaving while helping you discover your own answers.
  • Why Should I Try Schema Therapy or DBT?
    If you have a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder or you struggle to manage your emotions, despite having had lots of therapy in the past, you could benefit from DBT or Schema Therapy. Both therapies are designed to help you begin to manage and understand your emotions, break destructive patterns and build a better relationship with yourself and others.
  • How Do I Book An Appointment?

  • How Do I Pay For A Session?
    Payment is made at the end of each session by bank transfer, contactless payment or cash.
  • How Much is Each Session?
    An initial assessment session is £110 and each subsequent therapy session is £110. If you require a written assessment report or a document detailing your progress this is charged at £100 per hour. I am registered with most private medical insurers and prefer you to make payment to me directly and claim the cost back through your insurer. Most insurers will accommodate this method.
